Get to meet flying-foxes up close in a safe environment and learn much more about them!

What’s happening:
- Close (but safe) encounter with live bats
- Kid’s craft activities
- Your bat questions answered, along with displays and presentation
- Light refreshments provided
- Shortly after sunset, watch the spectacular fly-out as flying-foxes leave their roosting site to forage for the night

Suitable for children aged 5 and above but younger siblings also welcome – all children must be accompanied by a supervising adult

Transport / Parking:
2nd Gordon Scouts Hall is a 10-15 minute walk from Gordon Station, parking is also available in nearby and surrounding streets. If required, we can provide further information using the above contact details.
Wet weather:
Event will go ahead rain or shine as the location is indoors in 2nd Gordon Scouts Hall (if there is extreme weather, we may cancel watching the fly-out)
